Dr. Mapp is a family coach who develops partnerships with parents and grandparents parenting the second time around,  and  with other family members who care for their young kin or fostered children.   She coaches families to strengthen communication and relationship  patterns within the home and with others.  She also helps them to  advocate for better  institutions  that impact families  and children's  learning, like schools.    

As a retired educator she recognized that adults in families may have learning gaps and lack skills  that  keep them from increasing their financial security.  Thus she helps adults so they can model skills and attitudes for children while learning the information to help themselves too.  She also offers coaching support and workshops for fostered children aging out of the system  and  for young adults who want to learn better adulting and workplace skills.  

As a coach, Dr. Mapp helps families model and use practical strategies so they can gain the outcomes  they are seeking  with their children.   She coaches families to use empowerment strategies to unlock positive growth and well-being in their families by helping them to gain direction, set goals, and overcome obstacles.  If she coaches individual families rather than in workshos,  she limits time to four weeks or less.

Since Dr. Mapp had a consultant designation by the state, she began Schooling Solutions LLC as a consultant.  She did the research and realized that she was a Performance Consultant who worked with organizations or groups to help improve processes and project initiatives so their outcomes are more positive.   She successfully facilitated changed opinions and improved performances throughout her career.   

She can offer consultations to schools, day cares, home school groups and community groups who mentor children so they can improve their processes with children  who need so much more as they prepare for their futures and the world they will inherit.    Dr. Mapp can help groups to understand  how mindset can knowledge, attitudes and skills can .   That may include adults  working with diverse groups of students who want to  make sure that biaa.  They can then update their skills for better outcomes  with children in their care and for staff development.
