is an Author Website linked to Schooling Solutions LLC and dedicated to promoting the S.A.U.C.E. Book Series, services and resources of DeBora L'T. Mapp, EdD. She supports Adults as they better prepare Children, or Next Generations, for the future world they will inherit. Her focus is on the better preparations of Children for future success from infancy to graduation, by their Families and Schools. Families are children's first teachers and they may need support in embedding more well-being and
learning into home life.
Schools, organizations and the community working with children are their next teachers. They need to shift their functions so more children learn the consequences from the past that lead to today's contradictions. Children, as students, need to learn deeper skills, thinking and behaviors so they can more adequately overcome future challenges and meet opportunities to resolve the many problems that adults are leaving next generations.
With Dr. Mapp's featured books, families can transform themselves and advocate for better schools, and schools can learn from our nation's past, too, to develop schools that intentionally include more children in the learning process. Both Families and the Schools they send their Children to have to improve in their preparations of children, as well as other adults in institutions that impact famiilies and schools.
Schooling Solutions LLC is the parent company, founded in 2011 by Dr. Mapp to improve student learning at school and at home. She continues the work of her Parents as the next generation that benefitted from the civil rights era for a better more inclusive world. Her Daddy, James R. Mapp, wrote his book, Chance or Circumstance? A Memoir and Jouney through the Struggle for Civil Rights so young people would learn from history. She helps adults and those newly adulting to build relationships for more peaceful living, learning and healing from the past while filling in learning gaps.
As a divorced parent of one daughter and four sons, she experienced many family problems like those you may have gone through with your family. She used her extended family, research and her village to shift family dynamics when the going got tough. It was rough but she parented all five childen to engineering degrees while she worked and earned a doctorate over thirteen years.
Using wise practices from research, family and work experiences, Dr. Mapp honed a unique perspective to proactively improve our lives on multiple levels. Using a holistic and sustainable approach that recognizes interconnections and learning from the past, she facilitated the empowerment of students, colleagues and parents so they could improve their education and life skills.
Working as a servant-leader throughout her career, Dr. Mapp vowed to use social justice change agent skills as she facilitated changed opinions and improved performances. Her career included:

Her education degrees were earned at the University of Kentucky and included

As a retired educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Mapp started Schooling Solutions LLC as a performance consultant.
She later shifted to writing books for lasting impact in our fast-paced, contradictory and uncertain world. She updated the first and second volumes of her latest books in 2023 to capture life-altering events occuring during the viral and ongoing social pandemics. This period demands that adults improve the preparations of next generations so they can tackle the many complex problems they will inherit. She emphasizes the importance of intentional well-being and continuous learning that are needed during this cenury. Dr. Mapp is now a transformative author, speaker and family coach who enjoys her large family of 5 engineers with 3 spouses, 7 thriving grandchildren and a large extended legacy farm family. Dr. Mapp is also a church ministry member, avid reader, nature lover and pursurer of sustainability.

Our mission is to prepare more Children (Next Generations) for sucess in the future world they will inherit that we adults are continuing to imperil. They will have many challenges to overcome and it's hoped that more of them will be prepared for opportunities due to their family prepatations and education journeys. We support children's Parents and GrandFamilies parenting the second time around with help and guidance so they empower themselves to become more hopeful with updated and improved parenting strategies.

The S.A.U.C.E. Framework
From family experiences with farmer grandparents and civil rights activist parents, work and community experiences and social justice research, Dr. Mapp understood that living, learning and our families are linked and impacted by historical, political, educational and social forces.
This understanding requires a holistic approach so interconnections are made across many topics that sometimes
are not referred to, even though they are connected,
while learning from wise research and the past. She always used these details as something extra that was
added to her family life and work for improved outcomes.
This was like addding extra sauce to food to improve its flavor.
This was later developed into the S.A.U.C.E. Framework to Speak and Act on sometimes Unspoken but Connected topics to Embrace change more confidently.
Recognizing that families are children's first teachers and the smallest social units, we help families disrupt patterns that hurt well-being and keep learning from taking place. We encourage parents and older siblings still living at home to consider using our resources to help prepare children, but also to close their own learning gaps that may help in work situations and to possibly improve financial security, too.
When children see parents working to improve, its easier to improve their academic performances and behaviors. Plus family emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health - and schools and communities may improve, too.
